Welcome to my website! I’m Courtney, a versatile design professional with expertise as a Service Designer, UX Designer, Researcher, and Strategist. My work reflects a unique personal story rooted in a distinct and rich professional and personal journey. Through my experiences, I have cultivated skills and insights that empower me to effectively address the multifaceted nature of design problems and their solutions. Fueled by a dedication to inclusive and accessible design, I leverage a wealth of experience in mixed methods research and design to create innovative solutions.
EDUCATION:
I have a B.A. in French and a Master’s and Ph.D. in Geography, with a specialization in health geography. Through my professional journey I have developed expertise in qualitative and mixed methods research design, methodologies, and analysis. I have extensive experience in teaching qualitative and mixed methods research at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
My research expertise spans diverse aspects of healthcare, encompassing topics such as cancer screening, maternal healthcare, harm reduction, and health disparities. I have conducted extensive research in various geographic settings, exploring locations within the United States and internationally.
